Comprising Robert Sanders and Brent Jackson and a team of agents, the group was formed in 2007. After working independently, Rob and Brent found that their personalities, skill sets, and shared passion for real estate balanced in such a way that the perfect partnership had finally been solidified.

Robert is a native Washingtonian licensed in both DC and Virginia. Having 19 years of experience in the Real Estate industry has allowed him to establish a strong reputation within the DMV area.

Brent Jackson, ABR, CRS, SRS, GRI, is Senior Vice President and an Associate Broker with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, as well as a Founder and Principal of The Rob and Brent Group. Brent’s strong analytical skills, combined with his natural ability to listen and absorb information, is central to his success in helping a broad range of clients achieve their real estate goals. Brent has been practicing real estate since 2005 and is consistently ranked among the highest performing, award-winning agents, selling over $181 million a year in volume.
Brent is best known for representing clients in new construction projects in downtown DC, from Cleveland Park to Capitol Hill, and all points in between. In representing sellers, Brent has gained a reputation for setting sales records in various buildings, blocks, and neighborhoods throughout the District.
Brent’s team is currently ranked as one of the top ten groups in DC. Brent has appeared in and been quoted by publications including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Business Journal, Washington Life, Washingtonian, and The New York Times.
Brent is originally from West Virginia, where he attended West Virginia University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a Master’s Degree in Business. His clients describe him as highly organized, persistent, tactful, and knowledgeable.
Brent is an avid investor in the real estate market in DC, WV, NYC, and FL. He has renovated and sold over ten homes in Washington, DC. When he’s not in his office or on site at a property, Brent enjoys spending time with family. He also enjoys playing basketball and is an avid sports fan. Brent currently resides on Capitol Hill near Eastern Market in a home he and his wife extensively renovated.
Mattia was born and raised in Washington D.C. and holds two bachelor’s degrees from James Madison University and a master’s degree from The University of Tennessee. His extensive background in marketing, customer service and sales paired with his attention to detail, knowledge and integrity, make him an ideal candidate to help buyers and sellers across the D.C metropolitan area.

Having spent time living in Italy, Mattia has a passion for history, architecture, language and culture. He’s a native Italian speaker and a proud member of the National Italian American Foundation. When not working in real estate, Mattia enjoys the outdoors, trying new restaurants and traveling the world. He is a classically trained singer and loves all-things related to music and the arts. He serves on the Board of Director’s of Washington National Opera’s BravO, is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda Music Society and founded a non-profit organization dedicated to community enrichment through the arts.

Peter is a native Washingtonian whose extensive knowledge of our Nations Capitol is a strong asset for his clients. Born in Thailand, Peter spent the majority of his life traveling between Washington DC and the rest of world.
After spending several years playing professional soccer in Eastern Europe and Asia, Peter moved to New Orleans and graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Loyola University. He then returned to Capitol Hill to help his family manage their real estate business. His family is and has been avid real estate investors in the Washington DC market for decades.
Peter's overseas experiences make him a true asset to the international community that makes up Washington DC. He has an expansive knowledge of the DC and Metropolitan market, combined with years of helping run his family's property management company.
Peter strives to provide top quality service for his clients while his energy and enthusiasm ensures that their home buying or selling experience is pleasant and enjoyable.
After losing his mother to cancer as a toddler in the Philippines, Clarence came to the United States with his older sister several years later. Learning to adapt to different environments in his formative years has served Clarence well in life and in business. Having lived in Northern Virginia and DC for more than 30 years, he knows the Washington DC metropolitan area. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Clarence provides his clients an outstanding level of competence, dedication and service. Retail management sharpened his marketing skills and provided him great insight into the diverse personalities with whom he works, learning what motivates people and ensuring Clarence is an astute negotiator. His time in banking proves invaluable helping his clients understand the intricacies of the loan process. His role as Regional Director of School Operations shows his exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Grounded in honesty, integrity and hard work, Clarence thrives on helping others make solid decisions.

When Clarence is not practicing real estate, he enjoys running, hiking, traveling and spending time with his partner in the Kalorama neighborhood. Whether it’s play dates at Kalorama Park with fellow dog owners, friendly chats at local cafes, or having friends and neighbors over for wine, Clarence enjoys the strong sense of community that makes living in DC special.

Leslie Backoff Snider is an Agent on the Rob and Brent Group at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Leslie is client-focused and driven to negotiate the best deal for her buyers and sellers. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Leslie moved to the East Coast for college at Boston University. Upon graduation, Leslie moved to Washington, DC.
Leslie’s passion for customer service stems from her career in the hospitality industry. She started her professional career working for Hilton Worldwide at the iconic Washington Hilton and Capital Hilton as Senior Sales Manager. In this role she worked with luxury clientele hosting large events including the White House Correspondents Dinner, Alfalfa Club and National Prayer Breakfast.
She began her career in real estate with the Rob and Brent Group as Director of Operations. In this capacity, Leslie’s design and organizational skills came to the forefront when getting a property ready for the live market. From cleaning, painting, and staging, Leslie is there every step of the way to make sure the property shines for potential buyers.
When not working, Leslie volunteers as a coach for Girls on the Run- Washington DC. She can also be found exploring the beauty of the city either kayaking or on a hike along the Potomac. Leslie is a big DC sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Caps and Nats. She lives in Historic Bloomingdale with her husband and is a member of the Bloomingdale Civic Association.
Michael offers home buyers and sellers a wealth of experience gained from his work in local real estate and with large, multinational corporations. After a highly successful career as a business development executive at Marriott International and Discovery Communications, Michael launched his real estate career with the TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. He draws on his experience in consultative sales, creating and implementing marketing strategies, and negotiating multimillion dollar deals to deliver remarkable results to both his clients and his team.
As an Associate Agent, Michael has been successful attracting new clients to the team through his natural ability to work with all kinds of people. Michael is a careful listener, thoughtful collaborator, and out-of-the-box thinker. Through an optimistic attitude and disciplined persistence, he provides his clients with exceptional service.
Michael began his career in real estate as the Director of Operations for the Rob & Brent Group. In the operations role, Michael proved adept at working with contractors such as handymen, painters, stagers, landscapers, and photographers to maximize the sales price of new listings. He earned praise from both clients and agents for his ability to transform even the most challenging properties into homes that often earned multiple offers over asking price.
Michael attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and graduated first in his class with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Michael’s career began in local media in the Omaha, NE, Las Vegas, NV and Phoenix, AZ markets before he moved to Washington, DC.
Michael has been proud to call DC home for over 15 years. He appreciates and is committed to supporting the city’s diversity, unique neighborhoods, and vibrant cultural scene. Michael volunteers his time to social justice issues and organizations, particularly in the areas of racial equity and affordable housing. He has lived throughout Northwest DC and currently resides in Crestwood with his partner and their bossy orange tabby, Barnabas.
